How does Love Retold work?
Every week, you receive a simple prompt about your wedding journey. Just click, talk, and add photos, no apps needed. On your wedding day, guests can leave short video messages by scanning QR codes. All these memories are transformed into beautifully written stories and combined with your photos in one premium book that brings your entire wedding journey to life.
Can I choose the questions?
You have complete flexibility with storytelling prompts. Choose from our expert-curated question library, write your own questions, or even use photos to inspire stories. You and your loved ones can also contribute custom questions to capture exactly what matters most to you.
What happens if I miss a question?
No problem at all. You can always go back and respond to previous prompts whenever you'd like. All prompts are saved and accessible through your private digital archive, so there's no pressure to keep up with a strict timeline.
Can I share more than one story per week?
Absolutely! While we send one prompt per week by default to keep things manageable, you can respond to multiple prompts whenever inspiration strikes. Some couples complete their entire collection in just a few weeks, while others prefer to spread it out.
How long can recordings be?
Each recording can be up to 15 minutes long. There's no minimum length - some of the most meaningful stories can be shared in just a minute or two.
Will older relatives be able to use this?
We've designed Love Retold to be incredibly simple for everyone. There are no apps to download, accounts to create, or technical skills required. If your relatives can use a smartphone camera, they can participate. Many of our customers' grandparents in their 70s and 80s use Love Retold with ease.

How much control do I have over the process?
You control every aspect of your Love Retold journey. You decide who gets invited to share memories, which photos to include, what prompts to answer, and how your book looks and feels. Whether you prefer to use our thoughtfully designed defaults or customize each element, the choice is always yours.
Can I customize my book's appearance?
You can use our professionally designed templates created by book design experts, or personalize your book with different cover designs, layout styles, and page designs. We've made it simple to create a beautiful keepsake with as much or as little customization as you prefer. Either way, your book will be uniquely yours and beautifully crafted.
Can I edit or add on to my stories?
You can edit the written versions of your stories at any time before your book is printed. You can also add photos to any story, even after recording. This gives you the flexibility to refine and enhance your memories as your journey unfolds.
Can I include photos?
Photos are a core part of your Love Retold experience. Upload images from your entire journey, from first date to first dance, to tell your complete story visually alongside your written and spoken memories. The combination of words and pictures creates a rich, multidimensional record of your wedding journey.
Is there a word or page limit to my stories?
Individual stories have no word limit—your memories deserve the space they need. Love Retold books can include up to 200 pages, which accommodates most couples' complete wedding journeys. Additional pages can be added at a rate of $1 per page.
Can I change the order of my stories in the printed book?
Yes! Before printing, you can easily arrange your stories in any order you prefer. This allows you to organize your book chronologically, thematically, or in whatever way best tells your unique love story.
What does the final book look like?
Your Love Retold book is a beautiful 13x10-inch hardcover with premium lay-flat binding and full-color printing. Each page features your stories, photos, and QR codes that link to the original recordings. The book can include up to 200 pages, professionally designed with quality materials that will last a lifetime.
How long until I receive my book?
Your book will arrive within 14 days after you complete your story collection.
Can I order additional copies?
Yes! Many couples like to share their Love Retold book with family members. Additional copies are available for $149 each. These are identical to your original book, including all stories, photos, and QR codes linking to the original recordings.
Can I download my memories?
Yes, absolutely. You can download all your recordings, photos, and written stories whenever you want. This gives you complete ownership of your memories and ensures they're preserved exactly as you want them.
What happens to my content long-term?
Your stories, photos, and recordings are securely stored in your private digital archive, which you can access anytime. Unlike subscription services, Love Retold provides permanent access to your content with no ongoing fees. You can also download all your memories at any time to save them locally or in your preferred cloud storage.
